This page explains which cookies the WATOWEAR website uses, why, and how you choose. It applies to this website. You don’t need an account to use it. The WATOWEAR app has its own cookie settings, inside the app.
Who we are
The website is published by Ms. Chloé Sasaa, trading as a sole trader under the French micro-entrepreneur regime, under the trade name WATOWEAR.

What a cookie is
A cookie is a small file a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies work the same way, such as storage in your browser or small tracking images. In this policy, “cookies” means all of them.
Strictly necessary cookies
These make the site work. The law does not require your consent for them.
| Name | Purpose | Provider | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| wtw_consent | Remembers your cookie choice, so we don’t ask you on every page. | WATOWEAR (this website) | 6 months |
| wpEmojiSettingsSupports (session storage) | Checks once whether your browser can show emoji. | WordPress (this website) | Until you close the tab |
Your language is part of the page address (pages in French start with /fr/), so no language cookie is needed. Opening a page with a form, such as the Contact page, does not place a cookie. Our fonts are stored on our own server, so no font service places a cookie either. People who manage the site also get the usual WordPress sign-in cookies. Visitors do not.
Advertising cookies (only with your consent)
We use the Meta pixel to measure visits that come from our ads and to show you relevant ads on Meta’s platforms. It loads only after you accept Advertising.
| Name | Purpose | Provider | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| _fbp | Recognises your browser so Meta can measure visits that come from our ads. | Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd (set on this website) | 90 days |
| _fbc | Records that your visit came from a click on one of our Meta ads. | Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd (set on this website) | 90 days |
| fr | Lets Meta show you relevant ads and measure them. | Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd (on facebook.com) | 90 days |
To learn how Meta uses this data, read Meta’s Privacy Policy.
How you choose
- On your first visit, a banner at the bottom of the page asks you. You can Accept, Refuse or Choose. Refusing is as easy as accepting.
- Choose lets you switch Advertising on or off, then save your choices. Strictly necessary cookies are always on.
- Nothing in Advertising loads before you accept. Just browsing the site is never taken as a yes.
- You can change your choice at any time with the Change my cookie choices button below.
- If you withdraw your consent, the Meta pixel stops loading and we delete the _fbp and _fbc cookies from our website. The fr cookie belongs to facebook.com: you can delete it in your browser settings.
- Refusing changes nothing else on the site.
How long we keep your choice
We keep your choice for 6 months, in the wtw_consent cookie. After that, we ask you again.
Your rights
Cookies can involve personal data. You have the rights described in our Privacy Policy. You can access, correct or delete your data, object, and withdraw your consent at any time. Write to contact@watowear.com. You can also complain to the CNIL (www.cnil.fr).
Changes to this policy
If we add or remove a tool, we update this page and its date. If the change needs your consent, we ask you again.
